- working with a counsellor in the comfort of your own home or office
All you need is a telephone or Internet connection, and a quiet time to talk or chat.
Length of Session
I generally meet with individuals and couples for a 1½ hour initial session followed by one hour sessions thereafter.
Length of Therapy
Length of therapy differs for each client. It is difficult to initially predict how many sessions will be needed. I will be better able to discuss the probable number of sessions after we have explored and gained some background and insight into the problems you are facing, usually by the end of the first session. If you are interested in doing intensive work to increase your chances of living “happily ever after” additional sessions may be required.
Public Speaking
I offer talks on a variety of topics including: forgiveness, conflict resolution, and self-esteem.
If you are interested in having me speak for your group or organization please contact me and we can discuss what I can do for you.
During a ladies conference, I attended a mini workshop on forgiveness offered by Jean Mackenzie. I always had a misconception about forgiving….
I thought I had a problem with forgiving ………that when you forgave someone all the bad & uncertain feelings left and that was the end of it forever. Not so with me . . . I figured I was not forgiving because all the feelings of frustration and anger would return now & then. I learned from Jean that this indeed was normal and to forgive does not mean you forget. From time to time feelings may bubble up inside you, but you have indeed forgiven, it is the act that is important.
